Reconxx exists because our founder, Mike Shelley, spent 16 years scaling his own ecommerce brand to eight figures — and wished he'd had a 3PL that operated the way we built this one.

The Origin Story

Reconxx was founded by Mike Shelley as the operations arm of his own ecommerce business. After 16 years of scaling SGT KNOTS — a rope and cordage brand that grew to eight figures in revenue — Mike had seen every 3PL failure mode firsthand: the surprise fees, the unreachable account managers, the silent margin theft buried in shipping markups, the rigid minimums that punished brands at exactly the wrong moment.

So he built the 3PL he wished he'd had.

Reconxx operates from a modern facility at 245 Orbit Rd, Statesville, NC 28677. The location is intentional — central to the I-77 and I-85 logistics corridors, with 2-day ground shipping access to 70% of the US population. Charlotte is 30 minutes south, and we serve brands across all of North Carolina and the southeast.
